Relaxed food & drinks at Langevelderslag
Buhay Beach is a relaxed daytime option near the beach, serving specialty coffee, juices, fresh sandwiches, pastries and light meals. It works especially well for a morning coffee, an easy lunch or something to take with you before walking through the dunes to the North Sea.
Opening hours
Buhay Beach states that it is open 365 days a year from 09:00. The earlier restaurant information prepared for this guide listed daily hours of approximately 09:00–18:00. Because beach businesses can adjust times for weather, holidays or private events, check the official website for the latest hours.
RolRups beach wheelchair
Buhay Beach is the collection point for the electric RolRups beach wheelchair. The RolRups is designed to help visitors move over soft sand more independently and is different from the larger guided Strandrups vehicle.

Beach beds & Nederzandt service
During the beach season, Langevelderslag has beach beds and seasonal service. Visitors using beach beds in the Nederzandt area can order food and drinks by QR code when that service is operating. This makes Buhay Beach and Nederzandt easy to combine during a full beach day.
Parking at Buhay Beach

Families can easily combine Buhay Beach with Speelzandt, the free nature playground in the dunes at Langevelderslag. The beach, playground, restaurants and parking area are close together.
Combine Buhay Beach with Keukenhof
Langevelderslag is normally around 20 minutes by car from Keukenhof. A visit works well after the flower gardens if you want coffee, lunch, a beach walk or extra time outdoors on the Dutch coast.
