Where can you park at Keukenhof?
Keukenhof has two visitor car parks, P1 and P2. Follow the signs and the instructions of the traffic officers as you approach. Your route and the traffic situation determine which entrance and parking area are most convenient.
The visitor address is Stationsweg 166A, 2161 AM Lisse, the Netherlands. Keukenhof is open from 18 March to 9 May 2027, daily from 08:00 to 19:00. Read the opening hours guide when planning your arrival.
P1: parking at the main entrance
Navigation address for P1: Stationsweg 166A, 2161 AM Lisse. P1 is the parking area at the main entrance. It is also the designated area for touring coaches and group buses. A limited number of electric-car charging points are available here.
P2: the second visitor car park
Location for P2: the corner of Stationsweg and Loosterweg Noord in Lisse. When using navigation, search for “Keukenhof P2” if available, then follow the temporary Keukenhof signs and traffic officers on the final approach.
P2 provides another visitor parking area and park entrance. Keukenhof's route advice directs drivers arriving from Rotterdam or Utrecht towards P2. Do not invent a house number for P2 or rely on a pin saved from a previous season: the signed traffic plan on the day takes priority.
Keukenhof parking prices
Buying a parking ticket online costs less than buying it at the entrance. A parking ticket covers your vehicle; admission to the gardens is separate.
| Vehicle | Online | At the entrance |
|---|---|---|
| Car | €10.00 | €15.00 |
| Camper / motorhome over 5 metres | €12.50 | €17.50 |
| Coach / group bus | Free | Free |
| Motorcycle | Free | Free |
| Bicycle | Free | Free |
Booking online saves €5.00 per car or camper over 5 metres compared with the entrance tariff above. Check that you have selected the right vehicle category when buying your ticket.
Arriving by car
You can arrange a parking ticket when booking your visit. Keep the parking ticket together with your entrance tickets so that you have everything ready when needed. Allow time to park, gather your belongings and walk to the entrance before your booked arrival slot.
Use the destination and parking instructions provided with your booking. As you get closer to Keukenhof, look out for the signs for P1 and P2. The parking attendants can direct vehicles according to the traffic situation.
Driving from Amsterdam
Keukenhof's recommended approach from Amsterdam is via the A4 and N207 towards P1. Use current navigation for traffic conditions and follow the instructions on arrival.
Driving from Rotterdam or Utrecht
For drivers coming from Rotterdam or Utrecht, Keukenhof advises the route via the A4, N208 and N206 towards P2. Your exact route depends on your starting point; follow the signed approach to the park.
Parking a camper or motorhome
You can park a camper during your visit to the gardens. For a camper over 5 metres, select the special camper parking ticket. These tickets have limited availability and are sold online in combination with a Keukenhof entrance ticket.
The camper tariff is €12.50 online or €17.50 at the entrance. Arrange the right ticket in advance and follow the attendants' directions to the appropriate parking space. If your vehicle falls outside the listed category, confirm the suitable ticket before booking.
Day parking only. Camping, recreational stays and overnight stays are not permitted in the Keukenhof car park. The parking area closes at 19:00. Book a campsite or another suitable overnight location separately.
Travelling with a caravan
A car with a caravan needs more room than an ordinary car. Before travelling, ask Keukenhof to confirm whether your complete vehicle combination can be accommodated, where you should enter and which parking ticket applies.
Do not assume that a standard car ticket or the motorhome tariff covers a car-and-caravan combination. If you are staying at a campsite in the region, leaving the caravan there and visiting with the car can make the day simpler.
The visitor car parks are not campsites. Arrange an overnight pitch separately and plan to leave Keukenhof before the parking area closes.
Free parking for coaches and group buses
Coach parking at Keukenhof is free for groups. Touring coaches and group buses can park at P1 by the main entrance. Follow the parking attendants' instructions for a smooth arrival and departure.
This makes P1 a practical arrival point for organised group visits, coach tours, company outings, school trips and other groups travelling together. Each visitor still needs the appropriate entrance ticket; free coach parking does not include garden admission.
Group organisers should agree on a clear meeting point and departure time with their driver. Allow time for boarding at the end of the visit and keep the driver's contact details available.
Minibuses and private transfers
If you are arriving with a minibus, taxi or private chauffeur, confirm the correct arrival and collection arrangements with the operator before the visit. Vehicle size and type can affect where you should go, so follow the attendants' directions instead of assuming that every small passenger vehicle belongs in the coach area.
Accessible parking
If you need an accessible parking space, follow the accessibility signs and tell a parking attendant when you arrive. Have your disabled parking permit ready where applicable, so the attendant can help direct you.
Discuss any assistance or drop-off needs with your driver before travelling. For specific requirements, confirm the arrangements with Keukenhof in advance; this is especially useful when travelling with mobility equipment or a group.
Charging an electric car
There are a limited number of electric-car charging points at P1. Ask a parking attendant where to find them. Plan your journey so that you do not depend on a charger being available immediately after arrival.
A parking ticket is not a reservation for a charging point. Allow enough battery range for your onward journey, and keep your charging app or payment method ready if you intend to charge.
Arriving by motorcycle or bicycle
Motorcycles and bicycles can park free of charge. Bicycle racks are available at both park entrances. Lock your bicycle securely and keep the walking routes and entrances clear.
Keukenhof is a walking park: bicycles stay outside the gardens. Cycling can be combined with a visit to the surrounding flower region, but allow enough time to return to your parked bicycle before closing.
There is no regular facility for charging e-bike batteries during your visit, so arrive with a charged battery. Keukenhof currently mentions emergency charging assistance at the bicycle rental on P1; this is not something to rely on as part of your day plan.
Parking on busy days
Allow extra travel time on weekends, holidays and other busy spring days. An online parking ticket makes your arrangements easier, but it does not remove queues on the approach roads.
- Book the correct parking ticket for your vehicle.
- Follow the signed route to P1 or P2 and the traffic officers' instructions.
- Include the walk from the vehicle to the entrance in your arrival plan.
- Make a note of where you parked and which entrance you used.
- Keep enough time at the end of the visit to return to your vehicle.
Visiting the nearby tulip fields
Keep your visit to the gardens and any stops in the surrounding flower region as separate parts of your plan. Use designated parking at the places you visit and leave farm access roads clear.
Flower fields are working farmland and private property. Enjoy the views from permitted paths and roads, and only enter a field where the grower or attraction explicitly allows visitors.
